Silves

This course is for players – low handicaps will find it a serious challenge to come in under par. But high handicaps (with concentration) will be able to enjoy their round.
Most holes offer spectacular mountain views overlooking palm trees and olive groves, the surrounding cork and citrus farms generate a true feeling of authentic Portuguese golf.

Gramacho

After his success designing the Vale de Pinta course, Ronald Fream teamed up with the former world No. 1 Nick Price to create the unique design of Gramacho. With 18 holes and 27 greens, plus numerous different tee points, players are able to enjoy the same course time and time again but always with slightly different challenges.

Penina

Positioned in the western Algarve, Penina Hotel & Golf Resort is widely renowned as the true home of Portuguese golf. This is the only resort in Portugal to offer three golf courses… one of which, The Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course, is the first 18 hole course to have been constructed in the Algarve – and is legendary for some of the finest and most challenging golf in the world.

Palmares

Designed by mother-nature, Onyria Palmares highlight itself in the Algarve coast because of the prime location, faced to this incredible blue scenario of the Alvor lagoon, the “meia-praia” beach and the Lagos bay. A Perfect contrast with the green of this unique 27-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, which the links holes along the beach and the great views are the highlighting points.

Vilamoura

Though not strictly speaking one of the Vilamoura courses, Vila Sol lies only a few minutes east of Pinhal and is a truly magnificent course. Laid out among the fig, carob and pine trees, this course, over gently undulating terrain, hosted the Portuguese Open in 1992/3. In September 2000 a third 9 hole loop was added allowing three different combinations of 18 holes. With several water hazards, fast greens and some long par-4 holes, the course is a satisfying experience for golfers of all levels.

Boavista

Boavista Golf Resort opened in January 2002 and quickly became established as one of the Western Algarve’s premier resorts. With an exceptional 18-hole championship course it is one of the Algarve’s most beautifully manicured courses, bordered by properties all designed to harmonize with the land’s natural contours. Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean, visible from most holes, all combine to make the course a delight to the eye.

Amendoeira

Designed by Sir Nick Faldo with strategic play in mind this 6598m PAR 72 championship course demands careful positioning to score well. In a modern twist of a traditional recipe, cacti and wild herbs replace the role of Sunningdale’s heather, spartan Holm oaks and ancient olive trees take the place of a lush English woodland, and desert scrub bunkers of crushed limestone replace Berkshire’s sandy tracts in a golf course that revels in the classic principles of strategic play.

Alamos

Located within the Morgado do Reguengo Resort, Álamos Golf is the second 18-hole course of this countryside retreat with the Monchique Mountains and the estate s vineyard as backdrop. Two large water reservoirs and an orange grove complete the scenic portrait of this golf course. To complement it, the resort features an offer of luxurious accommodation with a hotel and apartment units, supported by a range of leisure facilities within and outside the complex. The Algarve International F1 Racetrack is just a mere 5 minute drive away.

Parque da Floresta

The Golf Club atmosphere at Floresta Parque is probably the best on the Algarve. You will always find a warm welcome from any member at the Spikes bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and where golfers may swap stories whilst enjoying one of the finest views in the golfing Algarve and enjoy a relaxing drink after a “hard” days golf. The Course is a good challenge to any golfer and an enjoyable day is guaranteed.
