#1 Ponta da Piedade
With a mysterious charm this natural cliff provides a magical view over the Atlantic it becomes particularly attractive when viewed from the sea. This small paradise in Algarve is accessible by land from a long staircase, where small boats await visitors for a ride. At the top of the staircase we find the lighthouse that marks the boundary between the land and the ocean.


#2 Forte Ponta da Bandeira
Built between 1679 and 1690 to promote the defense of the harbor. The access is
made through a small drawbridge and inside you can visit a small chapel.
#3 Museu Arqueológico de Lagos
Founded in 1932 by the hand Dr. José dos Santos Pimenta Formosinho, shows Celtic, Roman, Arabic and Portuguese remais. You can see a wide estate of Archaeology, Sacred Art, History of Lagos, Ethnography of the Algarve, painting, Numismatics, Mineralogy and Ethnology Overseas.


#4 Centro Histórico de Lagos
Affected by the earthquake of 1755, is still possible to see houses with traditional stone crafted and wrought iron balconies. With a strong presence of handycraft shops, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine.
#5 Zoo de Lagos
Always been object of great interest due to the presence of various animals, was
converted into a Zoo in 2000. At this point there so many species of birds, mammals and reptiles. It also provides a playground for the kids.
